Huh, I just had to edit this right after I posted it because the first part cut off. I was starting it off by saying that somebody on this website just recently "shared" a shit–ton of posts from another member. And normally you wouldn't think that it would ALL get posted to the HOME PAGE but instead, that's EXACTLY what happened— EVERYTHING they that they shared ALL posted to the homepage, in effect basically spamming the homepage either on purpose or inadvertently. But either way the results are the same.
I'm not sure if anyone else besides me was annoyed by having to see all that but I assume so. I was even going to put up a poll asking everyone what they thought of whether there should be posting limits, or at least in regards to the fact that now, apparently, the site allows unlimited shared posts to show up on the homepage.
Anyway it just seems like there ought to be some sort of built-in code that restricts excessive posts from anyone showing up to the homepage. I think there used to be even not to long ago and now that seems to have been lifted which is actually obviously a bad thing. Thoughts?
This is what I posted in the comments section below one of this one member's 50 odd shared posts many of which I didn't like and had to hide and or essentially block. I was even considering blocking the member entirely, but in retrospect, I don't think it was most likely intentional. They were probably just unaware. But maybe now they'll realize that all this stuff they "shared" completely flooded the homepage. Obviously either intentionally or unintentionally, that was the result. Anyways this was my message to him:
"You know, you really don't need to "share" all these things you like to ALL for EVERYONE to see! Because the result is it looks like your basically SHIT–Posting and/or SPAMMING the homepage with a bunch of stuff people may or may not want to see. Maybe you didn't realize that was going to happen. It might have been unintentional. You may have unwittingly done it and not realized now until after the fact that it was going to flood the homepage... Quite possibly. Or maybe you saw it all and were proud of yourself. All I know is that not everyone is into or likes all this material you've been reposting/"sharing". Didn't you know, it's okay and better just to "like" stuff instead? That way it will save to your own profile page for YOU to look at later but so that you're not FORCING everyone else to have to look at it? I just hid/blocked a ton of these posts you've reposted by "sharing", and am considering blocking you if you very soon if you keep this up or do it again. I'm probably also going to report to admin about this because its the effect of beyond ridiculous. There has to be a set limit of posts, likes, comments or "shares" that any one member can get displayed to the home page per day and per week. Because what you just did is over the top and just does there needs to be a built in restriction. I just don't want to see it happening anymore. Besides a bunch of the stuff you "shared" is stuff I don't care for that I find vulgar; forcing me to either have to hide or block over probably 30+ posts just to clean up my view of the home page! Have some consideration and respect for your fellow members on this site and PLEASE don't do that again!!! If you want to "share to all" SOME, that's fine, but PLEASE keep it to a REASONABLE limit of no more than a few per day— if you wouldn't mind!?!?! And if you're going to share stuff with everyone, please at LEAST consider posting something a little bit more tasteful!?!? Not everyone comes on this website just to look at porn! Please have a little decency and consideration for other members on here. Thanks."
Beyond this again, I think the site just needs to have some built in limits that prevent spamming and over posting of material to the the main page from any one member during a 24 hour timeframe, but also to be fair to everyone else to give others a chance to be seen and heard if they so choose. Thoughts? Other proposed rules and etiquette ideas and discussions from anyone else are of course also welcome here.

So it sucks when maybe you know there seems to be some unspoken rules that maybe it's thought that some people should just understand except maybe they don't because they're neuro-divergent and/or just feeling bold in thinking that they should have a right to express their freedom of speech even though it might offend somebody else... Including maybe somebody that blocked you who decided they didn't want to talk to you anymore for some stupid reason, or maybe just because they're judgmental. And then you feel like your ego has been bruised and you want to still have some final say to them so you decide to post to them in the comment section since you can still see their comments on other people's posts and you're trying to actually communicate with them in some way and express your disdain for them for blocking you because of whatever reason and not ever even giving an explanation as to why. Yes obviously that can trigger egos can't it? When you're actually trying to be nice to them and then they just up and block you for no real apparent reason other than that they actually are just being jerks themselves? And then so then what words are allowed and what aren't? Are you not allowed to call somebody stupid or a jerk if that's how you feel about them? Is not not considered legit or like allowed free speech on this website? I understand if it might be a little offensive but if you're not actually calling somebody some more offensive curse words or something I don't know maybe it is on the borderline of what should be considered acceptable if you have some sort of conflict with someone and are just trying to stimulate them to re-engage in a conversation. Even though it might seem a bit antagonistic. But I guess the admin would probably just say that if someone has blocked you that you probably just shouldn't communicate with them and shouldn't try to communicate with them because they blocked you and even though you can see their comments in the comment section because it doesn't block their comments that you should still not reply to things that they say in comments even though they probably won't get any alert about them unless they go back and look at their comment again and see your comment there. It's just like I don't know kind of weird to me. But then again I guess maybe that's some sort of unspoken rule of etiquette that maybe I never learned because I'm some different kind of person with a different sort of thought process...
