In addition to saving EMG bandwidth on this server, Vimeo has a link available from the comment page of each video to download the file as I originally rendered it, without any transcoding or other modifications for size.
This means that not only do you save EMG a buck or two by using the copy on Vimeo, but you also get a higher quality video in the first place. Particularly if you're leveraging CC-By , which says you can use my spirals for anything as long as you credit me, the copies on Video are ideal for applications like video editing.
